San Diego Trade Show Printing

Branding

Trade shows – what fickle experiences!  Do you remember the first trade show that you went to? Did that experience as a whole turn you off?  Many of us must not have had any good experience with Trade shows due to their awesome displays. Almost every presenter there had a horrible designed, home made banner of sorts.  Even the ones that had the professional attire, great attitude, and were rolling in cash looked endlessly ridiculous and tacky.

Fortunately, that does not have to happen today. When we had to present at a trade shows for the first time, we were concerned that we, too, would share the fate of inevitable ridiculousness and appear to be a vivacious fool.  Fortunately for us, our boss at the time had (figuratively, of course) gone through the entire experience.  Our boss was a wise old man, who had been with the company for decades.  He gave us the best piece of advice we had ever received about trade shows – do not ever try to do it on your own.  After making a few mock ups of ideas, we took our ideas to a professional printer, who produced a piece of mediocre work.  While it wasn’t great, it was far from tacky.  Our self image was saved, and we achieved 200 percent of every objective we were attempting to achieve at that trade show.

As time went on, we became better at pulling off the presentations. Our attitude could adjust to any potential question, client, or employee.  We have also mastered greetings and ice breakers. But the most important thing that we have done has been to follow our mentor’s advice – We have never ever done the banner printing for Trade shows alone.  And every time, we looked for better help. Many occasions we did get the help in Trade show printing. We however did not achieve the success we deserved at times.

Finally, surfing the web one day, we came across a printer in our area that specialized in Trade shows printing.  That day was one of the most important to my string of trade show successes.  The quality of my presentations went from less-than-poor to amazing.  Printers who had spent years studying the art of presenting at trade shows provided me with the best in every way – from their discretion and understanding to their professionalism.  We really do owe our numerous promotions to them.  But sometimes we get quite angry with them. That depresses us a bit, because with the right tools they are one of the most invigorating experiences anyone can ever have.

We have tried different printers since the time that we chose to go with a local printer specializing in trade shows, but with limited success.  And today, every time we get a new agent who has the chance to do a trade show presentation, we pass on our old comrade’s advice – don’t go at it alone.  But we have also built our own legacy – go at it with the best behind you!  And the best is San Diego Trade Show Printing.
